OUR WELL ROUNDED SQUARE
Welcome to Clinton's Historic Downtown Square, which is Missouri's largest and most charming. The Victorian setting makes you feel like you took a step back to the 1800s. Browse through our shops, where you will find unique jewelry, high fashion clothing and an array of gifts. We have a first-class historical museum. And in the middle of it all is the Henry County Courthouse, which dates to 1893. As you soak in the small-town atmosphere, don't miss the Memorial Bandstand, the Soldiers Memorial and the granite Historic Fountain that was donated to Clinton in 1911 by the Human Alliance Foundation.

Monitored Smoke Detectors
Clinton Main Street has available to each business on the Square a smoke detector system that is monitored by central dispatch 24/7. The purpose of this program is for early detection of a fire so it is manageable by the fire department before it involves several buildings. For more information, contact Leo Huff at 660-885-2560.
Clinton Main Street and its donors have provided several streetscape amenities. Including Piccadilly Park, 16 landscaped islands, planters, trash recepaicals, and benches. These are planted and maintained by volunteer’s and Main Street staff. Business owners are encouraged to help by watering and removing trash and debris.
Clinton Main Street has installed and maintains commercial grade Christmas lights on the downtown buildings connected to the Square. This system is intergraded together to central timers and electric boxes. There is a small annual fee to business owners for this service. Main Street also installs Christmas banners, lighted snowflakes and decorated planters during the Christmas season.
