Henry County Museum & Cultural Arts Center

The museum complex includes a restored Anheuser-Busch distribution center, circa 1886; an adjacent annex with a village from the early 1900's; the Delozier Building built in 1887 as a bank; and a dog trot log house built in 1856. Facilities are open April through December, and exhibits change seasonally.
Admission is charged.
Dorman House

Built in 1852 as the first two-story brick home in Clinton, the houseis a block west of the museum and houses the Clinton Main Street office. Once the home of Judge J.G. Dorman, Udolpha Miller Dorman and their seven children, the restored house is open for tours by appointment. Donations Suggested.
Katy Depot

Built in 1870 as a station of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas rail line, the depot was moved to the square in 1979. The depot houses the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce office, a tourist information center and a small gift shop. Free Admission.
Henry County Courthouse

The courthouse, built of Warrensburg sandstone, was completed in 1893. Historic photos and a mural can be found on the first floor. The grounds includes time capsules, a restored fountain once used to water horses and dogs, and a bandstand that honors veterans. Visitors are encouraged to stop at the office of the Henry County Clerk for additional information. Free Admission.
Downtown DeSoto
A restored car dealership, this private museum on South Washington Street houses a collection of vintage automobiles owned by a local collector. The museum is open during selected community events.
Soldiers' Memorial
The monument on the northeast corner of the courthouse lawn honors all men and women who have served their country and includes bronze life-sized figures of Union and Confederate soldiers. The War Between the States brought three skirmishes to downtown Clinton.
Veterans' Memorial
Found in Englewood Cemetery on the east side of town, the black marble memorial honors all U.S. veterans and provides for a quiet reflection.
Artesian Park
West Allen Street
Established in 1887, the park once was home to a health resort that included The Great Artesian White Sulfur Springs Well, a lake, hotel, dance ahll, county fairgrounds and race track. The 11-acre park is now operated by the City of Clinton.
