Highways
Clinton is located 1 hour southeast of Kansas City, Missouri at the junction of MO Highways 7 and 13.  Kansas City is accessible by four-lane highways.  Springfield, Missouri, 1 hour 30 minutes south of Clinton, should be accessible by four-lane highway by 2007.

Clinton Area Transportation Service (ATS) The Clinton ATS provides door-to-door bus service within the city limits.  Service is available Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  A fare of $1.00 is charged for each one-way trip.  To request a ride, call the ATS dispatcher at 885-3114.  State your location, your destination, and the approximate time you need to arrive.  One of the ATS buses is equipped with a lift for wheelchairs.  Please mention special needs when scheduling a ride.

Clinton Memorial Airport is located 3 1/2 miles east of Clinton on Highway 7. The facility offers a 4,000 ft. paved and lighted runway with NDB and GPS instrument approaches. Av gas, jet fuel and maintenance available.
